We’re the one-top shop in Ingham for all things sewing, patchwork and craft, our friendly team specialise in sewing machine repairs and servicing. An official Janome and Horn dealer, we also service and repair most other brands.

If you need any clothing alterations and repairs, the skilled team at Barnes can have it done in a jiffy. We have a large range of fabric in stock, from patchwork to dress fabric, so you’re sure to find the perfect print or colour for your next project.

We also stock all kinds of crafting supplies—fabric dye, thread, ribbon and zips—pretty much anything you’ll need for your next creation.

Sewing Machines Sales and Servicing

We sell, service and repair Janome and Elna Sewing Machines and Over Lockers.

For servicing and repairs, simply drop your Janome and Elna machines into the store. Usual turn-around for repairs is two days.

Quilting at Barnes Sewing Centre

Do you have a large quilt ready for quilting?

The 12ft Long Arm computerised Quilting Machine at Barnes Sewing Centre can handle all sizes of quilts with it’s edge-to-edge capability.

Drop in during business hours and see Sue for a quote on your design. An estimated completion date for your quilt will be provided and all quilting is completed in the order in which the quilts are received.

Embroidery

Our new embroidery machine can apply your business, organisation or personal logos and emblem to just about anything.
